Harvard University's campus is growing rapidly. The utility infrastructure needs to keep pace with development. Harvard is relying on Beacon Piping to upgrade their Chiller Plant at One Oxford Street in Cambridge by replacing two chillers (2,000 tons) with new. The work requires placement of all equipment and materials through an access hatchway because the plant space is located below the active Science Center. The work is being coordinated with York International Corporation, the chiller manufacturer.
